Here is our Heart project as we went through the Lesson on our Cardiovascular system in our Apologia Anatomy book. The kids loved this because they got to play with so much sugar. It really did help us see the process our blood takes through our bodies. We had to use green instead of blue to indicate the deoxygenated blood. But they understood it just the same. Each of them had to explain it to Dad when he came home for lunch. So I'm hoping they retained some of the information. Especially how complex God made our hearts and how everything functions so well together. It was fun. Now they get to " eat their hearts out" a little bit at a time.
