We made the escape. Although it wasn't too hard, we had the kids' favorite babysitter come and we took off in the red Buick Apollo(Steve's fastest car). It was a great night to celebrate our anniversary with cooler weather. So we headed to the
Tri-cities and made our first stop at a framing shop that a friend owns to frame one of our Wedding pictures. Our photographer at our wedding was good, but never printed any of our wedding pictures and just gave us all the negatives. I have our wedding scrapbook only 1/3 of the way done not too good for 13 years. Anyway came across our wedding negatives and had
Walmart print out a 12X18 pic of just us in black and white. Thus, we took it to the framer and had it
professionally done with a black frame and white matting. It should look great. Then we headed off to Olive Garden and enjoyed our favorite meals with the salad and
bread sticks. We also enjoyed their chocolate sorbet with
carmel drizzled over it and dark chocolate chunks sprinkled over. It was good! Conversation was great and we also struck up a conversation with a couple that had a baby. We started, of course. in guessing how old the baby was (with all our expertise). Well, we were a month off. Oh well. Then this couple happened to know other friends of ours and they also were customers that Star (Steve's Grandpa, Dads and uncles business) builds semi truck trailers for. Kind of fun.
When we arrived home the kids were wound up. I guess we all had a good evening.
