Aaaah...Cannon Beach!

OK... We love Cannon Beach! One of the highlights of our year. The kids start counting down the day we get back from Cannon Beach! Steve's family has been going for 30 some years and I was priveleged to marry into it. We always stay at Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center where we have our lodging and eat most our meals in their Dining Hall. For me I love the break of not having to think through the week to make a menu, going shopping and preparing it all. The kids just can't wait to get out on the beach and dig in the warm sand and maybe get a little bit wet. Haystack Rock always welcomes us back for another week of rest. The conference center always has great speakers that challenge us. This week Pastor Tom Schraeder from Phoenix was there. He worked his way through 2 Timothy and it was good and challenging! The kids all have there own programs going on while the adults meet in the morning and the evenings after dinner. We have all afternoon to enjoy..whatever..or just take a nap (I personally didn't get any naps this time, I was trying to fit a lot into a few days).
