The typical youngest child who seems to think he can get away with naughtiness with a cute grin, James. Tonight we had a new meal for dinner, not the the kids favorite, but most of them ate it, the majority of it, except James. He did choke down a bite and then was "all done" he said. I told him he wouldn't be getting a cookie later if he didn't eat any more. I though this was clearly understood. After the dinner cleanup James, Tori and Allie headed to the kiddie swimming pool, while Andrew and Jon caught a couple of Praying Mantis' and were trying to trap a few bugs for their (their PM) meals. I brought James in to clean up about a 1/2 hour later. Rinsed him off and put his pajamas on. 8:00 came and it was time for the others to get ready for bed. While I was rinsing off Tori and Allie in the shower (the pool was getting a little murky) James came in to show me his forbidden treasure. With chocolate all over his face and hands he gives me that little grin, "look Mom what I got, now ya gonna chase me?" JAMES!!!! I did go after him only to put him back in the high chair to finish his supper that I had set aside. He did take one more bite and then he was done, off to brush his teeth and get into bed. James is definitely his own little person and we're seeing strength and endurance in this little man, which will prove to be useful as he matures as a man.
Here are a few more cute pics of him today!
