Steve did good! Mothers Day was very enjoyable. I woke up to a cinnamon roll and a Starbucks Carmel Macchiato (My favorite)! For breakfast he put on a big spread. Steve normally makes breakfast on Sunday's but this one was extra special including pancakes, eggs, homemade hashbrowns (that he prepped the night before) and bacon. We all had an enjoyable morning together before we headed to church. The kids all made cards from school and Sunday school that were priceless. Steve did get me a gift, a vaccuum! Before you start laughing, let me explain, its a Dyson! Do I hear Ooooh, Aaaah? Our previous vaccuum was not so bad. It was a wedding gift from a lady that I had cleaned house for and she gave me her old vaccuum. It has held up in our home for almost 13 years now. It was kind of going on the frits, with a makeshift handle Steve rigged up, but also the power cord blinking in and out. It was just time for a new one. One thing about Steve is "If we're going to get one, we might as well get a good one". So we all have been enjoying it over the past week. Its a bagless one which I wasn't so sure about, but now I'm sold. I love actually being able to see what I've accomplished at the end of a vaccuuming session. After church we headed to a buffet of one of the nicer restaurants in town and enjoyed time with Steve's dad, grandpa and Gene's wife and her daughter and their family. This picture was taken by Andrew (9) right outside of the restaurant.
