He proceeded to tell me that no one honked (who would at 6:30 in the morning in a small town). And only one car sped up behind him probably to see what was written and then backed off. We had a good laugh, but I was a little disappointed he didn't get the full effect of the "well-planned scheme".
I left and he came home for lunch and then he left again. I didn't even think twice about revenge. As I went to pick up the kids from school we inched our way through the turn about and I saw the kids with their bagful of valentines. Andrew opens the door and says "Mom what's that sign on the back of the suburban?" The emabarassement I wanted Steve to have turned on me and now I was the one throughly emabarassed. As we inched our way out of the turnabout I realized my plan was not-so-well thought out and totally backfired on me. It was a fun day, a bit unusual for us, but fun. I love you, Honey!!
